1. Our Services

cKraft Design and Build Ltd provides architectural design, structural calculations, beam design, planning applications, building regulations drawings, and related consultancy services for residential properties in England and Wales.

All services are subject to the agreed scope and fees confirmed in writing before work begins.

2. Quotations

All quotations we provide are:

• Based on the information supplied by you at the time of enquiry
• Subject to review if the project scope, drawings, or details change
• Valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated

We reserve the right to revise a quotation if the scope of work changes materially from what was originally described.

3. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to deliver your project effectively, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
• Supply drawings, measurements, photographs, and any other details we reasonably request
• Allow access to the property where a site visit is required

Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information may affect agreed delivery timelines. We will not be held responsible for delays arising from these circumstances.

4. Delivery of Services

We aim to deliver all work within the timeframes agreed at the point of instruction. However:

• Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the project
• Third-party processes such as Building Control review or local authority planning decisions are outside our control and may affect overall project timescales
• We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control

5. Payments

Payment terms are outlined in your quotation or letter of instruction. Work will not commence until payment or an agreed deposit has been received.

Where payment is not received in accordance with agreed terms, we reserve the right to pause or suspend work until the account is brought up to date.

6. Approval and Liability

All designs and structural calculations are prepared in accordance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards. However:

• Final approval rests with Building Control or the relevant local authority. We cannot guarantee approval, though we design to meet the required standards.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of construction work carried out by third-party contractors.
• Any changes made to our drawings or documents by third parties are outside our responsibility.

7. Intellectual Property

All drawings, designs, calculations, and documents we produce remain the intellectual property of cKraft Design and Build Ltd until full payment has been received.

Once full payment is received, you may use the documents for the purpose they were created. They may not be adapted, reused for other projects, or shared with third parties without our written consent.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel a service at any time by notifying us in writing.

Where work has already been carried out at the point of cancellation, a fee will apply for that work. This will be calculated on a pro-rata basis against the agreed project fee and confirmed to you in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the value of the fees paid for that service.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from the use of our services or documents, including loss of profit, delay costs, or construction overruns.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
